I am a board member for the North Hollywood Neighborhood Council I have held my seat for 5 years I had decided to make the election process more like the all other elections so I spent $500 on my campaign.
Now the city has shut down our election and denied the stakeholders their right to make funding requests DONE has also shut down operations of the council, as the actions of an harassment issue has been delayed to the point of destroying this council
The city seems to think it has the right to play GOD. One person should never have the right or even the capability to shut down any council
Neighborhood Council members work with the city not for the city, and paid positions should not over rule volunteers especially when these volunteers give up so much of their time and energy
Please help us to bring this injustice to light we live in America not ancient Egypt, Rome which by the way was also destroyed by this very behavior. I hope you can see how devastating this action is to our society. Thank you for your time
