The Department of City Planning’s Office of Historic Resources is hosting a community meeting on Saturday, March 11th to kick off their work on the citywide African American Historic Context Statement through SurveyLA. It’s the first citywide effort to comprehensively document themes that have shaped African American history, creating a framework for the documentation and preservation of significant African American resources.
